Most visitors currently spend between 2 and 3 hours with us - and some much longer, taking their time to  explore and enjoy the 20 individual model railways and exhibitions located in two buildings.

As well as enjoying the model railways many visitors like to chat about their current or planned  model railway projects with our volunteers, browsing our range of second hand modelling items and sampling our delicious home-made cakes and biscuits.

Admission to our existing displays, shop and cafe area in Unit 2 is free.

The new Exhibition Gallery for the AIMREC Collection has an admission charge of £10 adults and £5 children. Family tickets and annual passes are also available.

We have step-free access and an accessible toilet in each building with baby changing facilities in Unit 2.
