We are located in Bethersden which is a village between Ashford & Tenterden on the A28.

We do not require our guests to book in advance but would ask, if possible, that you let us know which day you intend to visit by using the  the Contact system on this website, mailing friends@aimrec.co.uk or leaving a message on 01233 333877.

Most visitors spend between 1 and 1.5 hours with us.


As well as enjoying the model railways many visitors enjoy chatting to our volunteers, browsing our range of second hand modelling items and sampling our delicious home-made cakes and biscuits. 


 Admission is free, but we ask our visitors to consider a gift-aided donation of £5.00 per adult to help us to continue developing the centre and grow our services. 


We have step-free access and an accessible toilet. Please note that we do not currently have baby changing facilities.
