We are open every Saturday from 4th October to 20th December from 10.30 to 16.00 with operating model railways, miniature railway (weather permitting), model shop, second hand railway books and home made cakes and sausage rolls.
We will also be open Thursday 30th and Friday 31st October in the half-term week.
In addition to these hours our shop is open on Fridays between 10.30 and 16.00.
Our new exhibition gallery for the AIMREC Collection of model railways including Gresley Beat and Pempoul will be opening in mid-November 2025.
We are located in Bethersden which is a village between Ashford & Tenterden on the A28.

Most visitors spend between 1 and 2 hours with us.
As well as enjoying the model railways many visitors enjoy chatting to our volunteers, browsing our range of second hand modelling items and sampling our delicious home-made cakes and biscuits.
Admission to our existing displays, shop and cafe area in Unit 2 is free, but we ask our visitors to consider a gift-aided donation of £5.00 per adult.
The new Exhibition Gallery for the AIMREC Collection once open will have an admission charge of £10 adults and £5 children.
We have step-free access and an accessible toilet. Please note that we do not currently have baby changing facilities.
